Can we talk about how Albuquerque gravel suppliers never deliver what they quote?

Last spring I ordered 3 tons of washed gravel from a place off Central and the driver showed up with 2.2 tons, said that's what the loader gave him, and I ended up short on a 60 foot walkway, so has anyone else had to weigh their deliveries or do I just keep a bathroom scale in the truck?

Them saying "that's what the loader gave him" sounds like a loader problem, not a supplier problem. Those guys eyeball the bucket and call it close enough, that's how it works. If you wanted exact weight you should've asked for a weigh ticket or paid for a bagged delivery instead of bulk. Plus 2.2 tons is honestly close to 3, you gotta account for moisture and the driver maybe dumping a bit early to hit his next stop. Next time just order 4 tons and you won't be crying over a short walkway.
