Had to pick between tile and LVP for my bathroom reno
Went with LVP after the contractor showed me the cost difference was like $4 a square foot... been in for 6 months now and no issues with moisture. Anyone else skip tile for something cheaper in their bathroom?

Respectfully disagree. I went tile in my bathroom and it’s been 3 years with zero issues, and I feel like LVP just feels cheap underfoot.

Tile just feels more solid, but LVP makes sense when you look at the bigger pattern of people trying to save where they can these days. Bathroom reno costs add up fast between plumbing and fixtures, so cutting $4 a square foot on flooring can free up cash for a better vanity or lighting. At the end of the day it's about what works for your budget and your specific space, not what feels fanciest under bare feet.
