Vent: that $25 caulk gun was a total waste for my kitchen tile job

I bought the fancy dripless one at Home Depot on San Mateo last Friday and it still oozed everywhere. Took me an hour with acetone to clean the grout lines I'd just sealed. Anyone else just use the basic $8 metal one and call it good?

That ooze situation sounds brutal, especially after sealing all that tile. I feel for you, grout lines are way too finicky for that kind of mess.
