3am rabbit hole: found my old mix CD from 2004

Last week I couldn't sleep and dug out a shoebox of CDs from my closet. Found one labeled 'Highway Mix Vol 3' from a road trip I took with my buddy Mike to Austin in 2004. Every song was a burned mp3 from Limewire and half of them cut off early. Has anyone else found old mixes that take you right back to a specific moment?

Half the songs are probably "Track 01" with static at the end.

Haha seriously, is it that hard to just name the file before uploading? Last week I downloaded a "beat tape" and track 5 was literally a 30 second clip of someone sneezing. I was so confused for like 5 minutes trying to figure out if it was part of the song.

You're making this way bigger than it needs to be. It's a free beat tape, not a major label release. And @eric_knight7 is right, half the time you're lucky if the file isn't just named "untitled" with some crackling at the end. Just rename it yourself and move on.
