The 3am pizza place near me changed its recipe and I noticed right away

I stopped at Tony's on 14th street around 2 in the morning after a late shift and the pepperoni had this weird orange grease that just sat on top. Compare that to the same slice I got six months ago where the cheese blended way better and the crust had actual crunch. Anyone else have a go-to late night spot that suddenly went downhill for no reason?

Was the crust different too or just the toppings?

Does the bad grease seep into the crust itself? Or is it more of a separate layer situation?
