The midnight rabbit hole of 3D printed cookie cutters
I used to just buy cookie cutters at Michael's for like $4 each, but now I'm designing my own on Tinkercad at 1am. Last Tuesday I spent 2 hours tweaking a platypus shape because the bill kept coming out wrong. Has anyone else fallen into the custom baking tool black hole after midnight?

Wait, you spent 2 whole hours on a platypus bill at 1am? That's dedication I didn't know existed... I can barely stay focused long enough to fix a basic star shape. The rabbit hole is real though, once you start tweaking curves and angles it's like time just disappears.

Started setting a timer on my phone for 30 minutes when I get stuck like that. It helps me step back before I go too deep into tweaking one tiny detail. I also save a version of whatever I'm working on every 15 minutes or so. That way if I mess something up real bad I can just go back without losing everything. Forcing myself to take a quick break after the timer goes off keeps me from burning out on one part of a project. Sometimes the fix I was obsessing over doesn't even matter once I look at it with fresh eyes.
