Unpopular opinion: leaving my phone in the kitchen at night made my sleep worse, not better
Everyone swears the phone is why we sleep bad, so 3 months ago I started leaving mine charging in the kitchen and going to bed with nothing to mess with. Instead of knocking out faster, I just laid there for an hour doing math about my morning alarm and replaying dumb stuff I said in 2019. Turns out the phone was never the problem, my brain needed something boring to chew on until it got tired, and a paperback from the library sale does that way better. I'm back to keeping a real book on the nightstand and my phone across the room. Has anyone else found the "no screens" rule made things worse for them too?
