Nearly skipped the slow cooker club at the Maple Street rec center, glad I didn't
I almost bailed on the Tuesday slow cooker group at the Maple Street rec center last week because I figured sitting around with a bunch of strangers talking about chili sounded dumb. Then a retired nurse named Deb passed me her bowl of 3 bean soup and said "some days you don't need a hobby, you just need to eat something warm with people who don't ask you about work", and that hit me harder than I expected. Now I'm curious, what's the weirdest low effort thing that actually helps you unwind after a rough shift?
