Hit 1,000 afternoon cups on my 2019 log, the 750 mark felt huge too

I started keeping a small notebook back in March of 2019 to track every coffee I had after 2pm, mostly to justify the habit to my wife. Last Tuesday I poured my 1,000th cup, a simple dark roast from the corner shop in Dayton, and the number surprised me because I never planned to keep the log going. Has anyone else hit a random milestone like that and felt oddly proud, or am I the only one counting these things?

Your 1,000 cup thing reminded me of my buddy Mike who kept track of every bird he saw in his backyard for a year. He hit 300 and threw a little party for himself with a cake shaped like a cardinal. Nobody else came but his dog and it was the proudest he'd ever been about anything.
