Air fryer fish tacos in Seattle changed my weeknight dinners

Stopped at a tiny food truck near Pike Place Market last Thursday and the guy running it was air frying cod for tacos. He said he sets it to 380 for about 8 minutes with a light cornmeal coating, and they came out flaky but crisp. I tried the same method at home with halibut and it worked way better than my old pan sear. Anyone else tried fish in their air fryer, or do you stick to chicken and frozen stuff?

Tried it with some rockfish last week after seeing a similar tip online. I dusted it with a mix of cornmeal and a little paprika, sprayed the basket with oil, and ran it at 400 for about 7 minutes. The coating stayed on way better than my old pan fry mess, and the fish came out moist inside with a real crunch. Now I’m doing salmon fillets in there too, just cut the time a bit so they don’t dry out.
