Bought a $24 silicone liner for my air fryer basket and my cleanup time went from 10 minutes to like 30 seconds
I was scrubbing that stupid basket with a sponge every single night for weeks and it was driving me nuts. Finally grabbed a two pack of silicone liners off Amazon for $24 and now I just pull one out, rinse it, and toss it in the dishwasher. Did a batch of chicken wings last night and the basket underneath was basically spotless. Do you guys use liners or am I missing out on some crispier results without them?
Funny thing is I bought one of those liners for the same reason and then completely forgot it existed for like two months. Found it shoved in the back of a cabinet while looking for something else and felt like an idiot. First night I used it I made salmon and the basket came out clean enough to just wipe down. My only gripe is the wings don't get quite as crispy on the bottom since they're sitting in the liner instead of on the grate. Still worth it though, I'll take slightly softer wings over scrubbing grease at 9pm any day.
