Finally caved and bought a $40 air fryer liner set
I always thought those silicone liners were a waste of money since the basket is nonstick anyway. But after scrubbing a burnt-on cheese mess for 20 minutes last Tuesday, I ordered a 5-pack on Amazon. They actually make cleanup take like 30 seconds now. Anyone else find these worth the hype or just another gadget?

Oh totally, I was the same way. Bought a set just to shut up my friend who wouldn't stop going on about them, and now I'm the one telling everyone they're a game changer. My basket used to look like a crime scene after cheese, now it's a quick rinse and done. My wallet is mad I didn't buy them sooner.

Right? "Crime scene after cheese" is the most accurate thing I've ever heard, @grace89. I finally caved and bought a set last week after years of fighting it, and now I feel like a fool for scrubbing those things with a steel wool pad for so long. My only regret is that I can't blame my bad grating on the old basket anymore, but I guess that's a fair trade.

The Microplane actually works way better if you grate cold cheese straight from the fridge. I used to let mine sit out for a bit and it would just gum up the whole thing. Cold and hard is the way to go, it crumbles off clean instead of mushing into the holes. And yeah my old grater had so many stuck on bits I just threw it away instead of trying to clean it again.
