I used to think air fryers were just for frozen food
I mean, three years ago when I first got my Cosori, I pretty much only made fries and chicken nuggets for my kids. It was just a quick dinner tool. Then last month, I tried making roasted carrots with a little honey and thyme, and they came out so good, like better than my oven ever did. Last week, I got brave and did a small pork tenderloin, just seasoned with salt and pepper, and it was perfect and not dry at all. It's funny how my view of this thing has changed from a fast food helper to my main way to cook veggies and meat on busy nights. Now I'm looking at it like a real kitchen tool. Has anyone else had that shift, where you started making actual meals in it instead of just heating stuff up?

I mean, I still burn frozen fries in mine, so you're doing better than me.

Totally get that shift. My mom gave me one as a gift and I rolled my eyes at first. It sat in the box for weeks. Then I tried making crispy chickpeas in it on a whim, just some oil and smoked paprika. They were so good I started putting them on salads. Now I do little salmon filets in there too, skin side down. It just gets things so much crispier than my old toaster oven ever did without heating up the whole kitchen.
