Learned my chicken was drying out at 400 degrees at a family cookout last Sunday

My cousin's wife brought these perfect juicy chicken thighs to our family cookout in Nashville and I had to ask her secret. Turns out I've been blasting everything at 400°F when most chicken does way better at 350°F for a few extra minutes. Anyone else find a specific temp that totally changed their air fryer game?

Started lowering my expectations too and everything got better.

Did you try brining them first?

Have you tried bone-in thighs at 375? They come out way juicier than boneless, and @hart.sage is right that brining helps too but temp is the bigger factor in my experience.
