My $60 air fryer pan insert ended up being a total waste

I bought this nonstick pan insert online about six months ago for $60 because I thought it would make cleanup easier. It fit my basket size okay, but the coating started peeling off after maybe 10 uses. Now I just use parchment paper liners that cost me $8 for a pack of 100 and they work way better. Has anyone else tried those silicone inserts or do you stick with the bare basket?

@kellys78 my friend bought one and it fell apart even faster than yours.

Right there with you. I dropped $50 on one of those silicone basket inserts (claimed to be dishwasher safe and everything), and after maybe a dozen uses, the whole thing got this weird sticky residue no matter how I cleaned it. @taylorc40 your friend isn't alone in that, seems like these inserts are just a scam preying on people who don't want to scrub (like me, clearly). The parchment liners are the real deal, I get mine at the dollar store now and they last forever.

Can't believe they charged $60 for something that peeled after barely ten uses.
