My neighbor Frank told me I'm ruining my air fryer and now I'm paranoid
Frank saw me spraying Pam directly into the basket last weekend and called it a cardinal sin. He said the propellant eats away the nonstick coating over time and now I'm staring at my 3 month old Cosori like it's already damaged. I checked the manual and sure enough it says no aerosol sprays. Has anyone else been doing this by accident or am I the only one who missed that warning?

Honestly, I did the exact same thing for months before my buddy roasted me for it. He said I was basically seasoning my air fryer with regret and aerosol chemicals. I was too stubborn to check the manual because I thought I knew better. Now I just wipe the basket with a little oil on a paper towel, which is way less fun than spraying but probably keeps my Cosori from dying young.

Same here, I was spraying my basket like a maniac until I noticed this weird gummy film building up on the nonstick coating. Took me way too long to figure out it was the propellant from the spray. Now I just brush a little olive oil on whatever I'm cooking, keeps things crispy without wrecking the basket.
