PSA: I just wasted $12 on a 'single use' air fryer liner that ripped immediately

It was supposed to be for messy stuff like wings, but it tore when I tried to lift the basket, leaving bits of parchment all over my food. Has anyone found a reusable liner that actually holds up?

My air fryer manual actually says not to use those liners because they block airflow. I had the same rip problem with a brand I bought at Target last year. What I do now is just give the basket a quick spray with cooking oil before adding my food, and everything cleans up with a simple soak in hot soapy water. For super sticky stuff like cheese, I'll cut a piece of regular parchment paper and poke a bunch of holes in it with a fork to let the air through. It works way better and nothing ever tears.

Ugh, I feel that pain. I bought a whole box of those things before realizing I'm just bad at following directions. Now I do the parchment-and-fork method too, and my food doesn't taste like shredded paper anymore.

Total waste of money! Those flimsy liners are a scam. I just use regular parchment paper cut to size for my air fryer basket. It works perfectly and costs way less. You can even buy pre-cut sheets if you don't want to do it yourself. Never had one tear on me like those so-called "special" liners.
