Serious question, did you know you can make a decent cheesecake in an air fryer? I saw it on a blog called 'The Air Fryer Kitchen' and my mind is blown.

I made a small one in my basket last night (it took about 35 minutes at 300 degrees) and the texture was actually really smooth, so has anyone else tried baking something that seems totally wrong for the air fryer?

Wait, isn't 300 degrees too low? Most recipes I see call for at least 320.

Actually, 300 degrees is fine for most baking if you just add a few extra minutes.

Recipes are more like gentle suggestions than strict laws. My oven runs a bit hot, so 300 is my sweet spot to avoid charcoal briquettes. You might have a cooler oven, so 320 could be perfect for you. It's all about knowing your own kitchen's weird personality.
