Spent $35 on silicone liners and they changed my whole air fryer game
I kept burning stuff on the bottom of my basket, especially fries and veggies. So I bought a 3 pack of those round silicone liners with the little holes for $35 on Amazon. First try with chicken thighs was perfect, no more scrubbing crusted grease off the tray. But then I tried to use one for a salmon fillet and the fish stuck BAD because the holes didn't drain enough. Has anyone else had that problem or is it just me?

Try flipping the liner upside down so the holes are on top, lets the grease escape better for fish.

Huh, I gotta disagree with you there. I've always kept the holes on the bottom so the oil pools underneath instead of sitting on the fish. Seems like that would just steam the filets more than you want.

The holes on top thing actually reminds me of a time my buddy tried to bake salmon on a cookie sheet with no liner at all. It stuck so bad we had to soak it for an hour. But @the_anthony might be onto something with flipping it upside down. I've always just used foil and poked holes through it myself. Now I'm wondering if I've been doing it wrong all these years. The oil pooling thing never bothered me since I usually pat the filets dry first anyway.
