The fish stick tower of shame I made last night

I tried to stack frozen fish sticks straight up in the air fryer to fit more in at once. Big mistake. They all toppled over after 3 minutes and made a huge mess at the bottom. I learned you gotta lay them flat in a single layer with space between each one. Anybody else try stacking stuff and regret it immediately?

Heard on a cooking podcast that stacking anything wet or coated in an air fryer basically guarantees a mess, guess fish sticks aren't an exception either.

And it's always the stuff you're most looking forward to that turns into a sticky mess.
