Wasted $60 on silicone air fryer liners that melted everywhere

I saw those round silicone liners on Amazon and thought they'd save me scrubbing the basket. Big mistake. First use at 400F and the thing melted into a sticky mess all over my fries. Had to toss the whole batch and scrub burned silicone off the basket for an hour. Anyone else have luck with parchment paper circles instead?

ok so i used to think people were overreacting about melted cheese on fries too, but after reading this i totally get it now. the thing is when you pay good money for food and it gets ruined by something stupid like the cheese turning into a sticky glob, thats legit annoying. i had a similar thing happen with nachos once where the cheese congealed into this weird rubbery mess and i was so mad. its not just about the cheese itself, its about the whole experience being messed up. like you look forward to those crispy fries with the perfect cheese pull and instead you get a sad sticky pile. yeah so i take back my old opinion, this is actually a valid complaint.
