A guy in Phoenix said my torque wrench technique was off by a quarter turn on a Cessna 172's cylinder base nuts.

I mean, he was right, and now I double-check my sequence with a paint marker every single time, but has anyone else had a simple tip like that stick with them for years?

Ever think you had it down until one small fix changed your whole routine?

Totally get what you mean about one small fix changing everything. I read something about how tiny changes in your morning can mess up your whole day. Like if your coffee maker breaks, suddenly you're late because you had to stop somewhere, and then your whole schedule feels off. It's wild how something so small can throw you off like that.

Yeah, it's funny how one little fix can actually make things worse. Grant.susan had it right with the coffee maker example, where the fix is just getting a new one but the whole morning is still wrecked. Sometimes the solution just creates a whole new problem to solve.
