Guy in the hangar next to ours said his IA signed off a mag check without pulling the cowl
Heard that from a ramper at the Tucson shop last Tuesday and it's been bugging me since, because how do you catch a loose mag wire or a chafed harness without eyes on it, so what does your pre-signoff walk actually look like?
