I used to hand-file every burr on hydraulic lines, now I just hit them with a die grinder
Back in 2018 I was still spending 10 minutes per line with a file and safety wire. My lead showed me a carbide burr bit and I cut that time down to 2 minutes. Anyone else switch up their deburring method recently?

Man that carbide burr trick was a game changer for me too. I used to sit there with a deburring tool for like 15 minutes on each stainless line and my hands would cramp up something awful. Switched to a cheap die grinder with a double cut burr last year and it's night and day. Still have to be careful not to gouge the inside of the fitting if I get too aggressive but I figure that out quick. Now I can knock out a whole set of lines in the time it used to take me to do one. Did you stick with the safety wire after switching or did you phase that out too?

Switched to safety wire and promptly forgot which end was which.
