PSA: The cheap LED work light I swore I'd never buy turned out to be legit

I always used those big halogen flood lights on the hangar floor. Heavy, hot, and they draw a ton of power. A guy in the shop told me to try one of those portable LED lights from Harbor Freight for like $25. I figured it would be dim and fall apart in a week. After using it for three months inside a CRJ tail section I can see every wire and it's still going strong. Has anyone else had good luck with the cheaper LED lights?

That $25 Harbor Freight light you mentioned is literally sitting right next to me on my workbench right now. I bought one last year just to see if it could survive a drop from the top of a ladder and it's still kicking. The magnetic base on mine holds better than my old Milwaukee light that cost five times as much. For the money, it's hard to complain when it lights up a dark corner just as well as the expensive stuff.

Right? That little light is honestly the best bang for the buck I've found in years! I've got one stuck to the underside of my truck's hood and it's been through rain, mud, and a couple of accidental knocks and it still works like a champ.
