Spent 6 hours tracking down an intermittent squawk on a 737 flap system
She was showing a flap asymmetry warning on and off for three days. Every time we'd hook up the test gear, it'd pass just fine. Finally found a corroded pin in a connector under the rear galley floor... took two of us to pull up the panels. Has anyone else run into phantom issues that only show up when the plane is hot or flexing in flight?

Wait, you seriously found a corroded pin in a connector under the rear galley floor?? lol that's insane. @eric_knight7 I bet even a long ruler couldn't help with that kind of headache, haha.

Did you at least find a half-empty soda can under there too?

Did you end up finding anything else? When I had a jammed straw dispenser, I used a long ruler to reach in and slide everything forward. Worked for me, @grace89, might save you a headache.
