Took the IA renewal course online instead of in person, bad call
Signed up for the 8 hour webinar last month to save the drive to Phoenix, and I gotta say the instructor just read slides and I learned nothing. Has anybody else done the online route and actually gotten something out of it, or is the classroom setting the only way to go?

Man, I feel you on the "read slides" thing. I did the same webinar route last year to skip the drive, and the guy literally just clicked through the PDF while half the class was on mute. I kept having to rewind the recording just to catch anything, and even then it was like watching paint dry. The classroom at least forces you to stay awake and ask dumb questions when something doesn't make sense. You paid for the credit, not the knowledge, and that's the real kick in the teeth.
