Update: The new composite patch on that 737's wing skin looked seamless after the cure
Six months ago the same repair area had visible stress marks and a rough finish. What's the best surface prep you've found for these bonded repairs?

Glad to hear the patch held up well. What grit did you use for the final sand before bonding?

My last project used 220 grit too, but I probably sanded my thumbprint off in the process.

Went with 220 grit for the final pass. It left a nice smooth surface without being too polished. Anything finer and the adhesive might not grab as well. That seemed to work perfectly for the epoxy.
