Wasted $250 on a borescope that couldn't see past my own thumb

Picked up one of those cheap WiFi borescopes off Amazon last month for a cylinder inspection on a Lycoming. The camera kept fogging up, the app crashed twice, and the image was so blurry I couldn't tell a valve from a crack. Ended up borrowing my coworker's Snap-On unit and finished the job in 10 minutes. Anyone else got burned by bargain inspection tools, or am I the only one who fell for the online reviews?
