Just hit 500 panel installs and it got me thinking

Hit 500 alarm panels installed last week on a job in Arlington. Never really counted before but it's wild how many little quirks I've memorized for each model (especially the old DSC ones). Anyone else keep a running count or am I just weird about it?

Had a buddy who did commercial installs for like 8 years and he never bothered counting until his boss made him log every panel for warranty reasons. He found out he'd done over 1200 of those old DSC Power Series panels alone. Said the worst was when he'd have to wire up a 1832 with a bunch of keypads in some random strip mall and the power supply would keep tripping for no reason. He memorized which pins to jump on the main board to bypass the trouble beep during testing. Always said you don't really know a panel until you've had to troubleshoot one at 11pm in a dark closet.
