Panel batteries dying after 2 years instead of 5, anyone else seeing this?
Ran a service call last month over in Fresno, the customer's DSC panel kept beeping low battery at 2am. I swapped it out fine, but this is the third one this year that died way before the 5 year mark. We buy from the same supplier we always have, so I'm wondering if it's a bad batch or if something changed with how these are stored. I checked the date codes and they were fresh. Has anyone else noticed panels eating through batteries faster lately? We started keeping spares in the truck, but this is getting old.
