PSA: Check your panel battery terminals for corrosion after a flood
Last month I went back to a job in Houston where the panel sat in 2 inches of water during a storm, and the terminals were completely gone - melted into a green crust. Has anyone else dealt with flood damage that looked fine on the outside but ruined the backup battery connection?

Bro did you check the ground bond too? I had a setup in New Orleans after Katrina that looked clean as a whistle until I pulled the terminal cover off and it basically crumbled into dust in my hands lol.

Texas floods are different. That green crust is just normal corrosion.
