Totally feel you, way too many connection drops in those big spaces.

Folks get way too worked up over spotty WiFi in a conference hall. It's a minor annoyance, not a crisis - you can always step outside or use your phone data for a few minutes. Unless you're literally coding a live demo in the back row, it's hard to see how a few dropped connections ruin the whole thing.

Has anyone checked if the venue's WiFi router placement is the real problem? Sometimes they shove them in closets or behind concrete walls and it kills the signal in the middle of the room.
