Used to hate wireless panels. Not anymore.

Had a commercial job in Cleveland where I couldn't get a wire from the basement to the third floor. Customer said get it done or lose the contract. Tried a Honeywell 5800 module and it worked perfectly. Any other installers making the switch on older builds?

Honestly, that's rough forcing a wire through an old build like that. Glad the wireless module got you out of a tight spot.

Friend of mine swore by wired systems til he had the same problem in a 1920s house.

Wired systems work fine in old houses if you know what you're doing.
