Am I the only one who got roasted by a 10 year old about my paper journal?
My niece saw me writing in my pocket notebook at a family BBQ in Boise last Saturday and asked why I don't just type it in my phone. I said paper helps me remember stuff better, and she goes "but you forget it at my house like twice a month." Fair point, honestly, since I left my last one on her porch swing in April and got it back with a ketchup stain on page 12. Now I'm wondering if my whole carry-a-notebook habit is just a look. Has anyone actually measured whether they recall more from paper or from a notes app?
