I finally tried sharpening a hand saw with a file and it cut like butter
Figured it was a waste of 20 minutes on a rainy Saturday in Boise until the saw went from bouncing off a pine 2x4 to shaving a pencil line in about six strokes, so does anyone know if a cheaper file holds up or do I need the good one?
