Pro tip: I called the wax paper thing in my bullet journal dumb for 3 years and my cheap printer smeared every page
Three years ago I read on some forum to lay a sheet of wax paper between journal pages after printing a weekly layout, and I rolled my eyes so hard. Last month my $40 inkjet started smearing the tracking boxes on my planner pages, and I had to redo a whole month of habit grids. My wife said to use the wax paper trick she saw in a craft group. I humored her and pressed a sheet over a fresh print job with the back of a spoon, and the ink set in maybe 20 seconds, zero transfer on the facing page. I did 8 spreads that night and not one smudge, so I owe that old forum poster an apology. Now I keep a pack of wax paper in my desk drawer next to the ruler, cheap as dirt at the grocery store in Dayton. Does anyone else use a bone folder on their prints, or is that overkill?
