PSA: the free seed library at the Boise train depot got me hooked on growing dry beans
I was killing time at the old train depot in Boise waiting on a friend and noticed a little wooden cabinet by the door full of seed packets, all free, take what you want. I grabbed a pack of scarlet runner beans and 3 tomato seeds just to be polite, and now 4 months later my porch is a mess of vines and I keep going back for more. Does anyone else use these little community seed swaps, and do you save your own seeds after or just let the packet run out?
