Guy at the camera swap in Portland convinced me to ditch my light meter and just trust my gut
He handed me his beat up Olympus and said "if the sky looks bright, it's bright, stop overthinking it." Half of me thinks that's reckless for someone shooting slide film, the other half thinks all my bracketed shots look the same anyway. Where do you all land on metering by eye versus carrying a meter everywhere?
