My $40 bulk loader finally paid for itself
I've been shooting a lot of 36-exposure rolls on my Canon AE-1, so I grabbed a used bulk loader and a 100-foot roll of Fomapan for about $40 total. Turns out I miscalculated the frame counter twice and wasted a few shots, but I still got like 18 rolls out of the spool. Has anyone else had to fiddle with their loader to avoid blank frames, or is it just me?

Figure out if the blank frames happen at the start of the roll or at the end, that tells you if the counter is off before you load or if the spool is slipping while you advance.

Ever notice how every tool we use has its own little quirk, like my toaster that burns one side unless it's leveled just right?
