The darkroom timer at the old community college lab still runs fine
Went back to the junior college where I learned to develop film back in 2005. They still have the same GraLab timer mounted on the wall, and it works perfect after 40 plus years. My digital timer at home died twice in the last 8 months. Something about that old mechanical wheel just keeps going. Made me wonder if we traded reliability for convenience without thinking about it. Anyone else still using a piece of gear that's older than they are, and does it just not quit?
