Took my old camera to a rainy swap meet, now I bring a ziplock bag

Last Sunday at the Rose Bowl flea market it started pouring and I panicked, grabbed my Nikon F2 and shoved it under my jacket. The lens fogged up but the body stayed dry, and I got some of the best shots of the day, wet reflections on the pavement and all. Anyone else got a low tech trick for protecting gear when the weather catches you off guard?

Honestly ziplock bags are lifesavers, I keep one in every jacket pocket now.
