I ran 4 rolls through my Pentax K1000 last month at about $3.50 a roll instead of $11, and now I'm kicking myself for all the money I handed over at the shop, so what's the one thing you kept putting off that turned out to be way easier than it looked?
Wait, you really think $3.50 a roll is the win here? Add up the upfront gear, the time loading in a dark bag, the messed up rolls when you get a light leak, and suddenly that $11 at the shop looks pretty fair. Plus my local lab gives me dev and scan included in that price, so I'm not sitting there with a pile of negatives and no way to see them. Bulk loading saves money on paper but only if you shoot a ton and never screw one up, and I screw one up about every fifth roll, so the math never worked for me.
