Guy at the anime club screening in Phoenix would not stop explaining the Eva ending to me
Went to a Sunday screening of End of Evangelion at a spot near Mill Ave in Tempe back in March. Some dude sat next to me and spent the whole last 20 minutes whispering his own theory about Shinji and the ocean. When the credits hit he turned to me and goes "you get it now, right?" like he had just solved it for me. I just nodded and grabbed my jacket. Did anyone else deal with the one person who turns every club night into their personal lecture, or was it just my bad luck?
