Just wasted $60 on a streaming service for obscure 80s anime
I signed up for RetroCrush thinking I'd finally watch the original Dirty Pair series, but their player is so buggy it buffers every 3 minutes. Has anyone else had better luck with a different service for finding those old OVAs?

Oh man, that's rough! $60 down the drain for a buffering nightmare sounds about right for these niche streaming services. I swear RetroCrush's player runs slower than my old dial-up modem from 1998. Maybe try Crunchyroll's hidden classic section if you haven't already, it's hit or miss but at least the videos actually play.

You said it runs slower than your old dial up modem. I feel that. But honestly, I don't think Crunchyroll has the OVAs. They mainly carry whatever got a dub in the 2000s or later. RetroCrush is basically the only legal place for that old 80s stuff, which makes the buffering even more frustrating. I tried it for Bubblegum Crisis once and gave up after fifteen minutes. Sometimes piracy is the better option for this era of anime, sadly.
