My post about the One Piece anime hit 500 comments and I'm kinda shook

I made a thread last month asking if people thought the Wano arc was too long, and it just kept going. Woke up today and saw the counter at 502. It's wild because I just wanted to see what a few folks thought, not start a whole debate. Has anyone else had a simple discussion take off like that?

Yeah, I saw a YouTube video saying Wano's pacing is a huge talking point right now.

Yeah, that YouTube video is just scratching the surface. The whole debate has basically split the fandom into people who binge-read the manga and think the anime is unwatchable, and weekly viewers who are just used to it. It's not just about Wano being long, it's about Toei stretching two manga pages into a full episode every single week.
