Rant: Finding the right fansub group took me 3 whole weeks in 2008

Back in 2008 I was hunting for a decent sub of Gundam 00 and kept landing on groups with terrible translations or watermarks plastered over the whole screen. It took me 21 days to finally settle on one that had consistent subs and the occasional quality note in the margins. Does anyone else remember the pain of comparing three different versions just to check one episode?

Honestly, that timeline sounds a bit off since Gundam 00 aired in 2007, so you'd have been hunting earlier than 2008 unless you mean the second season. Tbh, the watermark struggle was real though, took me ages to find a clean subbed version with decent translations too.

Ngl the second season aired in 2008, so that tracks if you were hunting then, but 2007 was still first season only.
