Serious question, has anyone else hit 500 posts in a single anime forum thread?

I just realized my 'favorite fight scenes' discussion has over 500 replies, which is wild because I started it just to kill time during a snowstorm last winter.

Actually, it was a bunch of small moments that kept it going. People kept remembering cool fights from older shows and would drop a quick comment. No big drama, just a slow and steady trickle of people sharing stuff they love. That thread became a chill place to geek out over animation. It's surprising how a simple topic can stick around like that.

My own posts never last that long... I'm lucky if I get two replies before it sinks into the void. Guess I don't have the magic touch for starting those easy-going threads. Maybe I try too hard or pick boring stuff. It's a real skill to make a place where people just want to hang out and talk.
