The great 'watch order' debate that almost ended my group chat

Had to pick between watching the Fate series in release order or chronological order for a watch party. I went with release, and my friend spent 45 minutes explaining the timeline on a whiteboard. Anyone have a simpler show to suggest for next time?

The whiteboard timeline explanation is a special kind of pain. I've been there. For next time, maybe just pick a show where the timeline is "the order it happens." Something like Cowboy Bebop is a safe bet, no charts needed.
