TIL my $14 anime club card expired and I argued about it for 20 minutes
I paid $14 for a yearly card at my local anime club in Portland and it let me into 12 showings, so the math felt fine until I showed up last Friday and the guy at the door said it lapsed in March. I tried to explain I mostly came for the retro night and he just shrugged, so now I am wondering if membership cards are worth it or if I should just pay per showing. How do you all handle club fees when you only show up for one recurring event?
